About Me!

Hi! My name is Jackie... and here are some things about me: I am married to a hilarious, wonderful guy who is my best friend. We call him Mr. Fo. I'm Italian. I'm from New Jersey. I have lived in Charlotte, North Carolina for 10+ years.  I NEVER EVER thought I would be the type to cook, bake, party plan... but all of a sudden, I became obsessed with it. Seriously. Obsessed.

In 2010, I started an events and wedding planning business and this blog is helping me document this journey. I am loving the blog world and all of the creativity out there; frankly it blows my little mind. I hope you will come along with me as I grow my business and make brides dream weddings come true - I promise I'll always have a good time doing it! I also give you some insight into my life as sometimes it can be quite hilarious. In the meantime, I write entertaining and food articles for the General Mills Tablespoon site and plan events and do marketing for a wonderful non-profit, Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center. Whew that makes me tired just reading it, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
